Ah Wing said,"Hello, I'm Karen's cousin, Ah Wing." He held his hand out for the doctor to shake.
"Hello, my name's Dr. Rey." He shook Ah Wing's hand.
"So... Um... We came here just to make sure that Karen really has cancer." Ashley said.
Dr. Rey looked at Karen,"Well her mental illness isn't that serious. The other doctors and I all think that we can make Karen's mental illness go away by doing surgery., and her cancer, well that's for sure, real and true. If you don't believe me we can do some x-rays. Oh and if you want Karen to do surgery for mental illness, you can tell me. The surgery will be in about 1-2 months. Maybe 2 months. And the surgery for cancer could be in like 3 months."
Ah Wing was happy and surprised about the mental illness,'This'll mean that Karen will get better and she can be a normal person, and besides she might get through this cancer. I always thought that her mental illness wouldn't go away, well of course it wouldn't go away on it's own but the doctors can work together and find out a way.' Ah Wing thought,"Er.. Excuse me. And I want Karen to do the surgery for mental illness." Ah Wing walked quickly out of Dr. Rey's office and outside then called Yan.
As Yan was about to get ready for bed, her phone rang, it read,"Yang Fu Wing" 'Should I answer this? Hmmm...'
Beep! Yan's phone made the sound as she pressed talk,"Hey Ah Wing."
Ah Wing sounded happy,"Hey, Yan guess what?"
"Yea?" Yan said, coughing a little.
"Karen's mental illness might go away by doing surgery!"
"Really? That's awesome, will you bring her to Hong Kong when she gets better?" Yan asked.
"Yea of course!"
"Good that's fantastic, that she'll get bet-" Yan stopped talking then moaned. Her back ached, she knew that this was caused by her kidney failure.
"Hello? Yan, are you ok?" Ah Wing said, hearing Yan's continuous moaning.
"Yes... Oh crap, I have to go to sleep... Talk to you later.." Yan said and turned her phone off.
That night, May woke Yan up. "Yan... Yan!! I have somethin to tell you!"
"Huh?" Yan said sleepily.
"I went down the street to go to my friend's apartment, then I ran into your boss. He said that you haven't been in work for a long time and he said that he fired you." May said.
"What?!?!?!" Yan said, surprised from the news,"Ugh... I hate my bo- ex boss..."
"Yea, he was pretty rude to me."
"Now I have to go find a job."
"Don't. You have kidney failure, and who knows how many days you have left?"
"Ah-hem. Don't say that, or I might even die tomorrow, so don't jinx it! And I love working, so don't tell me not to work either." Yan said, trying to go back to sleep.
May shrugged her shoulders and walked to her own bed.
The next morning, Yan was just about to get her purse and head out into Hong Kong to find a new job, the doorbell rang.
Yan opened the door to find Chris. "Hey Chris, why are you here?"
"Hey, can you do me a favor?"
"Sure come in first." Yan said.
Chris came into the apartment and sat on Yan's sofa,"Can you come to the Flying Mall and work there as a singer?"
"Singer?!?!? I don't think so... I have stagefright. I mean if I didn't, I would work as a singer."
"Please...." Chris begged,"My brother is the assistant manager there, and his manager said that if he doesn't find a singer to entertain our customers, he's going to fire my brother. And I'll always stay loyal to my big bro."
Yan sighed,"Fine... But I'm only doing this for the sake of your brother."
"Thank you! You get hired today! Hold on gotta call my brother first."
Yan rolled her eyes, and found herself surprised that she had got herself a job so quickly. 'Wow... That's a lot of surprises... First my surprise of finding me having kidney failure then knowing the Karne isn't going to have mental illness anymore. Then me getting fired and hired again.' She left Chris talking to his brother on the phone and walked into her room to get her purse. When she came out, Chris had hung up. Yan said-
"Shall we go to the mall then?" Yan asked, opening the door.
"Sure." Chris said.

When Yan and Chris arrived inside the Flying Mall,"So... Where do I sing at?
Chris looked mischeviously at Yan,"You'll see."
Chris led Yan into the mall. Yan felt like it was forever until they seemed to reach the center of the mall. It was beautiful. On the wall, one side there was a wall with glittering gems, it had water falling over it, Yan could see that way up, there was water filled up there, that fell over the gems. It made the gems shine. Below, where it contained the water, it was a like a huge dark green glass basin. Yan saw through the glass that there was fish and coins in there with the water. Then near the "indoor waterfall" as Yan liked to call it, there was a stage, on top of the stage there was a microphone, a computer, and 2 large speakers.
"That" Chris said, pointing over to the stage,"Is where you'll be singing, and that," he pointed to the computer,"Is where you will be picking out your songs and the music will go through the speakers, and the customers and hear you singing through the speakers and also the music."
Yan ran up to the stage, and went over to the computer then picked a song. She walked happily to the microphone and began to sing when she knew, when to start.
She began singing,"There's a hero, when you look inside your heart..." Yan began.
Chris knew that she had chose the song, Hero by Mariah Carey. As Yan sang, Chris turned around and began walking away from the stage and such, he knew that Yan knows what she's doing,"GO YAN!! OH AND YOU GET OFF OF WORK AT 12 PM!" Chris shouted. He quickly walked, afraid that the security guards heard his shout and wants to get him for being so loud.

AN: Ok when i first updated, it said Dr. Mumbleau on the top, sorry about that, I was messed up, it was supposed to say Dr. Rey :P
