Ah Wing walked slowly down the stairs. When he got home, he sadly walked into his room without a glance at Karen and Ashley. Ashley looked at Karen with a questioning look that probably stood for,"What happened?"
Karen shrugged her shoulders and walked to her cousin's bedroom,"Ah Wing, are you ok?"
"Yes, I'm ok, leave me alone please." Ah Wing said.
Karen said,"Ok, but when you need something tell me or Ashley." She walked away from the bedroom.

When Yan finally finished her surgery which was 7:00 pm, she had gotten very tired. It was successful though, Yan's new kidneys from the generous old woman, was working! But the sad news was that the old woman is expected to die in 3 weeks.
In the taxi, Yan whispered to Yin,"Dad, may I please go and visit Ah Wing? He just came back to Hong Kong today."
Yin and Yinjing looked at each other, Yin slowly and calmly said,"Honey, you just finished surgery. And I understand you really love Ah Wing but you're tired and you need to rest. Can you do that for me? Go home and rest?"
"Ok. But in return, you'll let me go and visit Ah Wing tomorrow morning right?" Yan asked.
"Right." Yin said.

The next morning, Ashley was in the bathroom, taking a shower. She came out of the shower finding her dirty PJ's. They were filled with the scent of beers. Then last night she went to sleep, drunk, without changing into new PJ's.
'Ugh.. I forgot my other clothes.. Now I have 2 options, 1: Wear these stinky PJ's and embarrass myself in front of Ah Wing or 2: Come out and look like a total cutie to Ah Wing as I strut my stuff across the living room to my bedroom. I choose... Option 2!!' Ashley thought. She was quite pleased with herself that she forgot to get her other clothes.
The pink bath towel was wrapped around Ashley's body in gentle care from Ashley's hands. Her long hair was hanging down, it was wet, but not dripping all over the place.
The door of the bathroom was opened. Ashley stepped out and walked towards the living room, making her face look as shy as possible.
Ah Wing came out the door, catching a glance at Ashley,"What are you doing?"
"Oh I for-" Ashley said but she then tripped onto Ah Wing. The truth was she did that on purpose to see what'll happen.
She made herself trip on Ah Wing. Her arms flung wide into the air, and wrapped them around Ah Wing's upper body. Ah Wing fell onto Ashley on the wide open carpet floor.
When Ashley and Ah Wing made the fall, Yan was just outside the door, she found it unlocked and opened it. There she was, Yan stood there, and witnessed all that happened. She saw that Ah Wing fell on Ashley. Then their lips almost touched. But Yan didn't notice one thing:
'Oh my fuckin god...' Ashley thought as Ah Wing and her lips almost touched, she swallowed,'We're almost kissing.. I've got to make this happen..' She thought. Then she tilted her head up a bit and their lips touched.
'Oh my god..' Ah Wing thought as Ashley kissed him,'Why'd she do that? I don't get it.. She knows we're not going out anymore and there's no feeling when we kissed anyways!'
Yan frowned at the sight of her boyfriend and Ashley kissing,"Yang Fu Wing! What are you doing?!?!?!" She just stood there in the doorway.
"Yan? What are YOU doing here?" Ah Wing asked.
"I'm here to say hi to you. I haven't seen you in 4 months and I miss you but I come and find you making out Ashley. Ashley! The girl you broke up with! May is right, you aren't even responsible!!" Yan shouted at Ah Wing.
"Yan, I didn't even make out with her it's a mistake!" Ah Wing said, he ran to Yan but she turned around and ran down the stairs with tears dripping down on her face and to the hard, cold floor. Ah Wing chased Yan and grabbed her arm. She looked him in the eyes.
"Ah Wing, just be quiet! I don't want to hear anymore from you! In case you don't know, I've suffered a lot! And I tried to keep myself alive just for you! Now I actually wish to be dead!" Yan said, she zipped open her purse and took out a booklet about kidney failure,"Here! It'll show you!" Yan waved it up in the air and took Ah Wing's hand then slapped onto his palm. She ran off in anger.
Ah Wing fell back a step, wishing that Yan would listen to him.
He stormed up the stairs of the apartment building and into his apartment. In anger, he ran to Ashley's room and grabbed her suitcase then opened the closet and took all the clothes out. As he put the clothes in her suitcase, his eyes burned with tears. Ashley ran into her room finding Ah Wing putting her clothes into her suitcase.
"Ah Wing, what are you doing?!?!" She shrieked, she stomped her foot,"Ah Wing, stop!!! Remember? You promised you would take care of me! Yang Fu Wing, you always keep your promises. Are you going to break one of them now?!"
Ah Wing ignored the maniac, and ran out the bedroom door with the suitcase in his hand. He gripped onto the doorknob of the door out of his apartment. Ashley ran after him.
"Ah Wing, if you're going to do this, I guarentee you that not a good thing will come out of this." Ashley said.
Ah Wing still ignored her and opened the door then threw her suitcase out and pushed Ashley out and quickly said,"Yes I promised you I would take care of you but after what you did today, I am never going to keep that promise." Then closed the door.

Yan got home, teary-eyed. Her father was still at work and so was Yinjing. May was at home. Yan opened the door, and May sensed that she knew what happened.
"Yan what's wrong?" May said, she was sitting on the couch watching tv.
Yan started sobbing,"Nothing.. I don't wanna talk about it.."
"Are you sure? It seems like you need to." May said, gesturing for her cousin to sit next to her on the couch.
Yan sat down on the couch,"I seriously don't need to. I'm going to call Chris and tell him I'm going back to work." She took out her phone from her purse and dialed Chris's number.
"Hello? Hey Chris."
"Hey what's up?"
"Hey I wanna come back to work today. I know I was going to take a day off but I changed my mind."
"Ok sure you can come to work today." Chris said.
"Ok well, I'm coming to the mall now. Bye!" Yan said, and hung up.
May looked at her cousin,"Yan, please tell me what's wrong."
"Nothing, nothing's wrong."
"I thought you were going to Ah Wing's house?"
"He's not there." Yan lied.
"Are you sure?"
"Yes I'm sure."
"I sense that there's a problem between you two, tell me."
"I've got nothing to say."
"Ok. but I know you're mad at him or he's mad at you. But um.. Don't get mad.. But... Yesterday when you were at the hospital doing surgery, Ah Wing came to look for you. And.. Sorry.. But um.. Yesterday I was talking too much and not letting him talk.. And I kinda let it slip that you had kidney failure."
Yan was alarmed,"Then what did he do?"
"Nothing, his face was like totally shocked. I mean I didn't know what to do so I pushed him and I slammed the door in his face. I dunno what he did next. I'm surprised he didn't commit suicide."
"Oh May!" Yan said,"Why? Ugh... We shoulda never let you stay home!"
"I'm sorry." May said meekly,"I'll make it up to you."
"How?" Yan asked, looking at her watch.
"But you have to tell me first why you're so sad."
"Erm... Not right now, kinda busy. Gotta go to work or I'll be fired."
"Ok. But you HAVE to tell me tonight."
"Ok I will geez.. So nosy.." Yan muttered.
She opened the door and walked to the mall.

That night, Yan and May both sat on May's bed.
"Ok, it's time to tell me." May said.
"Fine I'll tell you." Yan said. She told May the whole thing, from when she opened the door to when she slammed the booklet onto Ah Wing's palm.
After Yan told May, she was amazed,"Wow... Yan I was right. You should've never went out with him. He's a cheater! I better go up to his apartment and make it clear."
"Don't! What if he hates me now? That'll make him hate me even more! And.. And.. I can't bare looking at Ashley. And today I had to see Ah Wing's sad face, and it hurts to see him being sad."
May found herself defending Ah Wing,"Well maybe he told Ashley to go, and get outta his house. Or maybe it was all a mistake? What if he didn't mean to do that? What if Ashley planned it all?"
Yan rubbed her chin,"Hmm... You do have a point in that. But still. I mean Ah Wing and Ashley are exs' what if their chemistry grew when they were in England together? And then Ah Wing loves her more than me. And he finds it amusing that I'm acting so dumb and Ashley and him are probably laughing about what I did this morning."
"Oh come on, you really think he's that kind of person?" May asked,"I mean, in the past you used to say how cool he was or somethin like that. And how nice he was and now you're saying that he's cruel by laughing at you?"
RING RING!! RING RING!!
It was Yan's cell phone. Yan looked at the screen it read Yang Fu Wing.
"Lemme talk to him." May said, she pressed talk on Yan's cell phone and put it near her ear.
"Hello?" May said.
"Hello? Hey erm... Maymay."
"Don't call me that please."
"May I speak to Yan please?"
"Um... Uh.... Yan doesn't really want to talk to you."
"Please, I really need to talk to her."
In May's mind, an idea just popped up. May put her forefinger to her lips, which stood for be quiet. Then she pressed the speaker button.
"She doesn't want to talk to you. Why can't you just leave her alone. Like let her have some privacy or some time to think about what you did."
"Fine. But can you please tell her that I read the booklet. And I already know about her kidney failure. I'd do anythign it takes to take care of her. Tell her that Ashley's not living in my house anymore. And it's only Karen and I here. I don't even like Ashley, why would she think I was doing inappropriate things with Ashley? There's no chemistry between Ashley and I. This is the truth, the reason Ashley was in that bath towel I have no idea. When she was just about to tell me she tripped on something. Then her arms were stretched out and wrapped around me. I lost my balance then I feel on her. I was so surprised that I didn't know what I was doing. Then she tilted her head up a bit because our lips were almost touching, so she tilted her head up a bit and her lips touched mine. And while it was touching mine, I had no feeling. Like you know that little spark in my heart when your kissing someone you truly love. Whenever I kiss Yan, I feel that. I feel special, and I want to make her feel special but sadly I was unsuccessful..."
Yan sat there, thinking. Then she grabbed her phone and pressed speaker again to make only her hear what Ah Wing was saying,"Ah Wing, I don't know if what you're saying is true. I just feel like that we should have some time away from each other and maybe let you think about what happened and I'll think about what you said AND what happened. And I don't really know if what you said is true.... Now I don't even know if I should trust you after what I saw yesterday. Well that's all I have to say, bye." Yan hung up.
May sighed,"Yan, why'd you say that? I honestly think what he said was true. I mean he never said um.. um.. Or something like that."
Yan looked at her cousin,"You never know." She walked to her own bed and sat on it,"You never know. And what I saw this morning, it was a horrific sight, something that I never wanted to see again."
May was determined to find out if what Ah Wing said was true, she'll save Yan and Ah Wing's relationship.
