'Hmmm.... Lemme see... What level does he live on?'
May took a wild guess and pressed level 5. DING! The elevator went when it arrived at level 5. The doors opened and May stepped out of the elevator. The first door that May saw was 103. May knocked on the door, a 40 somethin year old man showed up, he had a 2 inch beard, and a long mustache. His face was filled with zits and pimples. Near his top lip on the right side, he had a black mole with a little hair coming out of it. May tried hard not to puke.
"Miss, what are you doing here? I don't know you."
"Neither do I." May choked from the man's ugliness, she walked away from the man.
Next door, it was number 104. May hoped this person wouldn't be as ugly as the last one. She knocked on the door,
A lady came out. She had black, greasy, straight hair. Her red lipstick made her lips almost like puff out. Her eyes were almond size, they were pure black. The nose of the lady was as big as ever.
'At least she isn't as ugly as that man.' May thought.
"Hello, how can I help you?" said the lady kindly.
"Oh sorry, wrong door. You see, I'm trying to find a 28 or 29 year old man, and he has 2 girls living with him. Bad temper he has." May said,"I'm trying to find where he lives. Do you happen to know?"
"Ooooh. I've seen a 28 or 29 year old man around here. He lives right across from me," The lady pointed straight from her doorway, it was number 110,"Yea he has a pretty bad temper. Just yesterday, he kicked this girl out of his apartment. He had such a bad temper, he threw the poor girl's suitcase filled with clothes out the door. Then he yelled,"Yes I promised you I'd take care of you but after what you did today I'm never going to keep that promise." See? I have a pretty good memory. Then he slammed the door and the girl stomped her feet in anger. I'm surprised I didn't see a single drop from her face." The lady told May.
"Ok thanks." May said, then she turned around and wondered how the lady would've known all this,'Must've stalked them..' May thought. May knocked on the door.
The door opened and May found a girl's face.
"Hello, I expect you are Ashley?" May asked.
"I'm not Ashley, I'm Karen." Karen said.
"Oooh, you're Ah Wing's cousin right?"
"Yes."
"I'm wondering where Ah Wing is."
"Oh he's at work." Karen said, looking at her watch, it read 12:30,"He'll probably be back in half an hour."
"Ok good, may I come in and wait for him then?"
"Sure," Karen said leading May into the apartment.
May sat on the couch that Yan was on for the first time months ago. She waited for half an hour. And during that half hour, Karen had offered May something to drink or eat but May said no.
"Can I ask you something?" Karen asked.
"Sure."
"How do you know me? I mean you know that I'm Ah Wing's cousin. But how?"
"Oh I'm Yan's cousin. She told me everything. About what happened with Ashley and Ah Wing."
"Oh that...."
"Yea.." May said.
A moment later Ah Wing came in through the door.
"Hey Karen. Hey May- what?! May, why are you here?! How do you know where I live?" Ah Wing asked surprisedly, he hadn't expected May to come and visit him,'She's probably here to torture me and tell me that I'm not a good boyfriend and stuff like that...' he thought.
"Asked the lady next door."
"You mean the stalker?" Ah Wing asked,"But seriously why are you here?"
"Because I think that you didn't really kiss Ashley.. I think it's all a mistake. I mean Yan's always been dreaming about you, talking about how good you are and stuff like that."
"I didn't... She just doesn't believe me. I mean now I'm wondering what I did and why she doesn't believe me. She thinks that I don't know that she has kidney failure."
"Ok kidney failure has nothing to do with this. It's over. But we need to make her believe you. I just don't know how..."
"Whatever... I give up... This is too complicated... Love is.... I just don't know how to do this.."
"Oh come on! You can't give up!" May said, then her phone rang,"Hello? Yea. Ok I'll drive to the restaurant ok bye! Love ya!"
Ah Wing gave her a questioning look.
"That was my boyfriend. I have to go. See ya. And I'll think of a way, don't give up." May said as she steped out of the doorway.
