The next day as Yan walked around the Grooming shop where she worked, Wing appeared at the door.
"Hey, since I'm busy with saving people and I can't make my own food or pay the taxes, can you do those things for me? And anyways, tax day is coming."
"Sure but don't girlfriends cook their boyfriends food? Cause I'm pretty sure pathetic boys cook their own food and they either are single or they have lazy girlfriends or wives. Sooooo does that mean I'm your girlfriend?"
Wing looked away as he smiled,"Um.... We could say that." Wing chuckled. They both started laughing.
The couple walked out of the store because Yan's shift was done. The 2 new-lovers walked into the Flying mall, they were blocked by Chris and... A girl when they entered the mall.
Chris spoke first,"Well, well, Yan? Are you finally done tickling and laughing with Sand-Man here?"
Yan wanted to say something but Wing spoke for her,"Look Chris, don't be talkin, you have a girl by your side too. And Yan never had a feeling for you! So give it up! Wouldn't it seem unfair to your new girlfriend if you keep talking to Yan and making fun of me so she can come back to you?!"
"Wha.......?" Chris trailed off. Suddenly, trying to make himself look tough, Chris punched Wing in the stomach. Wing, of course, hit him back in the eye. As the 2 girls stood there, begging them to stop, both of the boys kept fighting. Passer-byers surrounded the group, the 2 girls kept begging them to stop.
Yan got very sick and tired of Chris's attitude,"STOP!!!! Chris, I'm getting very sick and tired of your attitude! And stop hitting Ah Wing. What'd he ever do to you? He's done nothing wrong! He was only telling the truth and the truth was right! I never liked you and I never will!" Yan quickly took Wing's hand and marched out of the mall.
When they were at Wing's house, Yan started putting an egg wrapped with a hot face towel on Wing's cheek. Wing only got hit in the stomach, cheek, and his arm. But Chris... He was nothing compared to Wing.
Later at night, as the Chan family sat down for dinner, the door bell rang. Yinjing opened the door, to find bruised up Chris.
Before you read anymore, you have to know that, Chris only came to the Chan residence to snitch on Wing. Chris wanted to tell the Chan family (except for Yan since she already knew what happened) that Wing had beaten him up and Yan already had a boyfriend which the family didn't know except for May.
"Chris?!" The whole family said except for Yan. Yan didn't want to see him after what happened today so she ran into the bathroom as if she had a stomach ache. She could hear the chatter from her family members.
Yinjing was the first one to speak,"Chris! What are you doing here?!"
Then Ah yin said,"Wow, boy what happened to you?"
May, then, said,"I thought you broke up with Yan? What are you doing here then?"
Chris waited until their questions were said,"Well I'm here because I wanted to talk to Yan but she seems to not want me here. I'm bruised up because of Yan's new boyfriend! We were at the mall and he hit me! Well we kinda got in a fight. I wouldn't wanna tell lies to seniors. And yes I did break up with her. If I didn't, and I kept going on with her I'd be dead by now, probably murdered by her boyfriend. Well bye Mr. and Ms. Senior!"
Yin got mad of the fact that Chris had called him Mr. Senior meaning that he was old!
"What the hell did you just call me?!" Ah Yin ran to his kitchen and grabbed the broom from the corner and came out into the living room with the broom shaking in the air. "GET OUT!!! GET OUT YOU FRIGGIN RETARD!!!" yelled Yin, despite the fact that he had asthma, he couldn't run that much, Chris kept running down the stairs once he got out of Yan's apartment. Yin only ran a few steps down then he got very tired. He was old but he never wanted to admitt it.
"Ai ya!" Yan said. Yan hurried over to her father. She had just came out of the bathroom and discovered that her father had just chased Chris out. "Dad! Why'd you get so angry?"
"I think you heard what he said, my daughter." Yin said.
"Ok yes I heard but you shouldn't have done that. What if you had a heart attack? Let's go to our apartment now."
Yin nodded as he was too tired to say anything. When the daughter and father arrived at their apartment and got seated down to eat, Yin asked," Yan, do you have a new boyfriend? If you did why didn't you tell me?"
Yan did not want to tell her father about Ah Wing because there were many things that Yin didn't approve and what if he didn't approve of Ah Wing? Yan looked over at her cousin for help. May decided to tell Yin about Wing.
When May finished telling Yin, he started asking questions about Wing which he later asked Ah Wing. He then, finally said,"I want to meet this guy next week.

The next day, Yan and Wing spent the morning together, walking through the streets of Hong Kong and stopping in the little shops. Then Yan ran over to the accessories shop and saw a really, really, cute bracelet. It had 3 trinklets, the trinklets were lined up as, a boy, a heart, and a girl. Yan thought about the trinkets and what they stood for, the boy stood for Ah Wing, the heart stood for the new love that they're sharing, and the girl stood for her. Wing actually thought that Yan was looking at the 4 rings in a black, velvet box, near the bracelet. Under the bracelet was a tag that said,"A bracelet to buy for your boyfriend to remind him that he still loves you and you want him to know that you know that he loves you!"
That evening, before Yan had to meet Wing on the beach, she went into that same accessories shop and bought the bracelet, it was $99.99!! Yan asked for a discount and the clerk surprised her by saying,"Since you're so cute gimme a kiss on the cheek and I'll letcha have it for free." After hearing that, Yan slammed her 100 dollar bill on the counter and grabbed the bracelet and ran out while screaming,"Keep the change you pervert!!"

Wing and Yan met up at the restaurant, Fook Lam Moon. They both reserved for a table and waited like 15 minutes until they can finally sit down at their spot. "That was SO long." Yan whined, sounding half tired, half relieved.
"Don't worry at least we actually can order our food now." said Ah Wing.
Yan chuckled as she put her napkin on her lap,"Hey, I got somethin for you."
Ah Wing smiled mysteriously wondering what in the world Yan would've bought for him,"What would you buy for me? Do you know what I like?"
"Of course! You want a beautiful girlfriend like moi!"
"Who? Not you!," Wing joked.
"Are you joking? Cause if you're not, you'll get a piece of this." Yan said, holding up her fist.
"I'm kidding, I'm kidding! Just tryin to have a sense of humor in a boring time!"
"Ok enough fun, anyways, here." Yan said as she pulled out a box from her purse and shoved the box across the table over to Ah Wing.
"Wow... What is it?" Ah Wing opened the box to find a silver bracelet,"Ooooh it's beautiful. I think I know why you got me this. I also knew that you got me something, you wanna know how?"
"How....? How do you know...? Oh! You're stalking me!" Yan jumped up and pointed a finger at Wing. Yan suddenly slowly, fell down onto her chair as if to say that she was just joking.
"Of course! I saw you at the accessories store, earlier this evening. When I just came in, I saw you and I panicked. Because of a reason I'm going to tell later but anyways I saw you and then I quickly hid behind a shelf-"
"Tell me you did not hear what that pervert said!" Yan said.
"I did, I hid behind the shelf and saw you go to the counter to ask for a discount and pay for the bracelet. I also heard everything. Good going, for what you did. I was laughing my ass out. After I ma-"
"Don't cuss! You know I feel uncormfortable around swearing." Yan said. She did not like swearing, when she was little, her father kept cussing at the doctor jsut because her mom died and it wasn't her fault. Yan got so sick of the cussing, that one day, Yan promised to herself that she'll never in a million years, or so, cuss or hear cussing.
"Ok, I won't cuss. Now can I continue?" Ah Wing said sweetly.
Yan rolled her eyes at the rhetorical question and smiled. (AN: means that a question that cannot be answered.)
Ah Wing went on,"After I made sure that you were out of sight and not anywhere close to the accessories store, I walked over to the clerk with your present I'm going to give you. I said,'What'd you just say to my girlfriend?' and he said,'Like that's your girlfriend.' And I got mad, and no I did not punch him, I said calmly,'Look at this picture in my wallet.' And it showed you and me. Then he said sorry and I made him give me a discount for saying that to you."
Yan's eyes got wide with glee,"Are you serious?! Did he really?! Thanks!"
"Of course! He had 2 options, 1: gimme a discount. Or 2: Me giving him a KO. But anyways, here's your present." Wing said as he took out a little ring from his pocket.
Yan started to look dissapointed,"But where are the others....?" Yan said sadly.
"You knew I was going to get the rings for you?!" Wing exclaimed.
"No but I recognize that ring, it's from the 4 rings in the set. Aren't you going to give those 4 rings to me at the same time then?" Yan said sadly, yet curiously at the same time.
Ah Wing smiled,"Were you expecting the rings?" Yan slowly nodded. Wing said,"You're greedy then! Just joking but I'm not going to give you 4 at the same time, it wouldn't be that romantic would it?"
Yan nodded again, slowly too,"You got a point with that."
"Good here's your ring." Wing said as he stood up and gestured Yan to stand up too. Ah Wing took a hold of Yan's hand and slid the ring into her middle finger of her right hand. Yan was going to sit down but suddenly, Wing pulled Yan to his side, and put his arm around her waist. He slowly "tried" to kiss Yan.
Yan had no idea what he was going to do. 'Um... Is he going to kiss me?' "WAIT!" Yan yelled.
"What?" Wing said, opening his eyes, since he was going to kiss her.
"Not here.... There's people..."
Wing ignored Yan, thinking that it was stupid of her to say that, and kissed her.
Yan felt bedazzled, enlightened, scared but excited at the same time. Wing's lips her soft against her own, he was kissing her lightly. Yan wanted to cherish this moment forever. Yan never kissed a boy before never, in her whole, entire life, so she was actually "new" to this. Yan pulled away 30 seconds later. Then, she suddenly felt uncomfortable, it was her first kiss, what did Wing think of the kiss? Many of her friends say that boys love you a lot if you were a good kisser and they don't like you at all if you are a bad kisser. And Yan knew that she was definately a bad kisser. But maybe Wing wasn't this kind of person?
"Why'd you-" Wing started to say,"Oh never mind... But why?"
"Why what? Did you expect me to be a good kisser?" Yan said meekly.
"No! I'm guessing this is your first time."
"It is...I just... I thought you would not love me anymore because, I dunno how to kiss... And I know I am a horrible kisser..." Yan said, now half relieved she had told him and half regretting that she had just said it.
"Aw... You're so foolish, you really think that I am this kind of person?"
"No... I was just scared that you wouldn't love me anymore but I knew that you weren't that kind of person, but I couldn't help thinking, and I was getting embarrassed kissing in front of all those people. It's all my fault! I'm sorry..." That last part was true, Yan couldn't lie to Wing since he was so nice to her.
"Well... It's actually my fault. I shouldn't have kissed you so suddenly. And it's not your fault that you can't kiss. Kissing is not a big deal. It's not like that you're not a good kisser then I dump you, it's ok. I can sense that you were nervous I shouldn't have kissed you. I'm sorry." Wing apologized.
'That's so sweet of him... I guess it's both of our faults. I feel ashamed, no idea why... He's so sweet why would I think of him like that? No wonder I'm ashamed!' Yan thought, then she hugged him.
They both sat down and started eating, since the waiters brought the food in like 15 minutes ago and everyone was looking at them, wondering why they were talking about kissing and not sitting down to eat.
