Ah Wing helped Ashley out of the car, she was shivering of fear and coldness. "You okay?" Ah Wing said, glancing at Ashley.
Ashley struggled to give Ah Wing a little shaky nod. She then said,"C-c-c-c-can y-y-y-y-you g-g-go u-up-p-p t-t-t-to m-m-m-my r-r-r-room w-withhh m-m-m-meeeee?"
This time, Ah Wing glanced over at Yan to make sure if she had heard Ashley, she noticed him looking at her and she mouthed the words,"What?"
Ah Wing, in response, mouthed,"Gotta go up with her." And pointed towards the hotel. Yan tapped on her watch as if to say,"Be quick!" Ah Wing nodded and said to Ashley,"Sure. Let's go up, oh and remember your purse." Ah Wing opened the car door and grabbed Ashley's bag,"Here you go." Ah Wing said, handing the bag over to Ashley's hand, which was starting to calm.
As they walked towards the hotel, Ashley looked back and witnessed Yan's face, full of tiredness and loneliness. 'Is Yan getting tired of me? Is she jealous that Ah Wing cares about me?' Ashley thought as she felt Ah Wing's arms on her shoulders and around her neck,'I guess Ah Wing likes me. Really, really likes me. I'm so grateful that I'm so beautiful that Ah Wing likes me more than Yan. But what if Yan tries to get him back from me? Clearly I think that Ah Wing loves moi!'

As soon as Ah Wing and Ashley walked into Ashley's hotel room, Ashley looked into Ah Wing's eyes,"Ah Wing... We're really close right? Like you as thorns of a rose, and me as the rose petals. It's like you're protecting me from the outsiders that try to hurt me right?"
Ah Wing did not know what to say,'Did I have to protect her?' "Um... Sure I guess..." He was looking straight at Ashley's eyes too but after his answer, he looked away, his eyes shooting this way and that looking for a way to change the subject.
"Then would you protect me forever?" Ashley said putting on a similar puppy dog face at Ah Wing.
'Was this Yan's puppy dog face?!' Ah Wing wondered. He looked at it,'It is! Since when did she see Yan doing her puppy dog face and start copying Yan? "Yes, I would, I try to protect everyone." Ah Wing said.
"Then, please stay, stay here and comfort me, I.... I am tired of being this way, I wanna be free of Karen, I'm always stuck with her, I don't want to be... I need my own life, I sacrifice everything for her, now I need something for me." Ashley said, and Ah Wing felt bad for her... She did need something.. But..
"Ashley, how can you say that? You promised me! And maybe you can just look after her for about one year, one year Ashley! She might not be living for more than 1 year! At least, please, help her, AND me, for one year." Ah Wing begged. (AN:You might wonder who Karen might be and what they're talking about but just keep on reading, you'll get to the answer.)
Ashley looked down at the ground, she thought,'Maybe I should be a good person for just 1 more time. Besides Karen and Ah Wing needs me. But I'm only doing this for Ah Wing, not for stupid Karen.' Then Ashley looked up, and met Ah Wing's gaze,"Ok.. I'll help you and her for 1 more year. But that's it. After this, I'm coming to Hong Kong."
Ah Wing was delighted that Ashley could help, he hugged Ashley and she thought,'Hmmm... Wow.. I AM getting him back.' Then Ah Wing caught sight of the clock, it said 9:30,he pulled away from the hug and said,"Hey Ashley, I have to go, Yan's waiting for me. See ya! And thank you for helping! I owe you!" Ah Wing turned around and walked to the door. Then he walked out. Ashley was mad that she had to take care of Karen one more time,'Why?? Why do I have to be the one that takes care of her? Oh well. Ah Wing, you said correct in your last sentence, and you DO owe me.' Ashley thought.

Ah Wing ran out of the hotel building and reached his car. He got in and turned around finding Yan asleep. 'Did I take that long?' he thought.
Ah Wing started driving, while Ah Wing drived, Yan woke up, but Ah Wing didn't know. Yan looked at her surroundings, she was still in the car, but it was moving! 'Why's the car moving? Who's that in the driver's seat? It's a boy! Did he break in and drive the car? Is he driving me to a place so he can rape me?!?!?!' Yan thought.
"STOP!" Yan shouted but that wasn't necessary because the driver had already stopped driving,"WHO ARE YOU? AND WHAT ARE YOU DOING IN MY BOYFRIEND'S CAR? AND IF YOU'RE TRYING TO RAPE ME, I TOOK TAE KWON DO FOR YOUR INFORMATION!!!!" Yan said, and jumped onto the other seat in the front, she was just getting ready to punch the person when he said-
"Yan! Calm down, this is Ah Wing!"
Yan looked at the person speaking, she didn't recognize in then she rubbed her eyes as if they weren't clear enough and saw the face of her boyfriend,"Ooooh! It's you! I thought it was a raper! I was so scared but I knew I had to be brave."
Ah Wing and Yan both laughed,"Let's get out of the car, I want to show you something." Ah Wing said after he had finished laughing.
Yan got out of the car and saw nothing but the darkness of the night. She looked at her clock and could see the short hand pointing towards 10,'Must be around 10 or later...' Yan thought. Yan didn't know where to walk, she bumped into the car,"OW!" Yan rubbed her forehead, as if to prevent the pain from growing.
Ah Wing was alarmed,"You okay?! Be careful, there's rocks that you can trip over here, but pretty soon the moon'll be bright enough that you can see where you're going." Ah Wing grabbed Yan's hand with his, and he guided her through the trail. "Do you really know how to do Tae Kwon Do?" Ah Wing said.
"No... I only said that to make you scared.. My way of forcing people to not do what they intended to do, and my way to keep myself protected." Yan said looking around her, and only saying darkness and figures of trees through the dim light from the path they were heading towards.
Not before long Yan and Ah Wing arrived at a beautiful place, it had 2 benches and right between the benches were a huge heart shaped boulder, it was about as tall as the average height of a person. Yan walked closer to the heart shaped boulder and saw names written on it. 'How can I read when it's so dark here?' Yan wondered then she looked up the sky and saw a bright, round moon. There were also millions of bright, little stars in the sky. She walked further and reached a little log bridge. yan saw that the log bridge led to the woods. Under the log bridge was a little stream, she heard little fishy noises, there were fishes under the bridge! Ah Wing was worried that Yan would fall into a hole that was dug by his parents when his parents were teenagers. Ah Wing ran and found Yan at the log bridge.
"There you are! I've been looking for you!" Ah Wing said.
"Wah! It's so beautiful here! I want to see everything!" Yan exclaimed.
"You already did. There's only the benches, the boulder, this river, log bridge, fishies, but... You haven't been up the boulder."
Yan's face brightened with excitement,"Really?!?!?! I wanna see!"
"Follow me!" Ah Wing said.
Yan and Ah Wing ran to the boulder. Yan started gazing at the boulder. "Why is there a pen?" Yan said pointing at the pen.
"Oh that's to write your name and your mate's name." Ah Wing said,"People say that if you write your name down with your boyfriend or girlfriend's then you'd get married and live with each other forever."
"But are you sure that's true?" Yan said curiously, picking the pen up,"One more question, is the pen permanent?"
"Duh, yes the pen's permanent," Ah Wing said,"And, I dunno if it's true, I mean I think it's not."
Yan's eyes scanned the boulder, there were many Yang's, like David Yang, Rose Yang, Darren Yang, Olive Yang, and many, many, more,"What's your parents' names?"
Ah Wing looked away,"David and Rose Yang." he mumbled.
Yan looked at him,"Huh?"
Ah Wing said louder,"David and Rose Yang."
Yan nodded,"Shall we go up?" Ah Wing nodded and took yan's hands.
He walked over to the front of the boulder with Yan trailing behind him. Yan then saw a few steps leading up to the top of the boulder.
"Whoa, I bet that when i get up there I can see part of Hong Kong." Yan said.
"I bet you can." Ah Wing said agreeing with Yan.
Yan climbed up the steps first then Ah Wing, Yan sat right on one side, and Ah Wing, on the other.
"Oh! Look a comet!"Wing exclaimed, pointing up at the sky.
Yan looked up the dark, though bright because of the moon, sky. There it was, a bright, fast, shooting, star like thing. It went by fast, Yan quickly closed her eyes and wished,'I wish that, Ah Wing and I can stay together foever, I feel like Ashley wants to break us up, but I don't want her to, I want to know if Ah Wing really loves me, I know I love him but... I just wish that I can be with Ah Wing forever...'
Ah Wing was wishing too, but his wish was short,'I just want Yan and I to love each other forever, and Karen to get better.' When he was done wishing, he looked over at Yan, she was still wishing, he kept looking at her. 'I remember when she was at my house for the first time, she looked so beautiful. But I was worried about her health... ' Ah Wing thought, then he trailed off as he saw Yan's eyes open up.
"I got a question for you," Yan said,"How do you know how to come to this place?"

AN: This chapter (in my opinion) isn't that interesting. Oh and this is May 6th at night, but I won't be on tomorrow because I'm really busy tomorrow I might be on, on like the next day after tomorrow so I won't be updating that much. Oh and, tomorrow I have my D.A.R.E. graduation and 5th grade concert. :P
