Yan went home crying that day. As Yan opened the door of her apartment, May was sitting on couch watching tv.
"Hey Yan, what's up? I thoug-" May began to say but stopped when she saw Yan's teary eyed face,"Yan, what's wrong? Oh, don't tell me. I'm a good guesser, lemme guess... Ah Wang hurted you didn't he?"
Yan began to sob,"For the last time it's Ah Wing not Ah Wang! And... You guessed right...." Yan began sobbing louder.
"Aw... It's ok.." May said,"See, I thought he was- Hey! Where ya going?" May inturrupted herself, when she saw Yan walking slowly into her room.
"Our room..." Yan mumbled.
May followed her cousin into their room, Yan jumped onto her bed, headfirst. Then she covered herself under the covers of the blanket.
"What's wrong? Tell me what happened." May said, trying to not sound like she was actually ordering Yan.
"I don't wanna talk about it...." Yan said.
"Tell me or I'll tell Uncle Yin, I know he wouldn't want you to date Ah Wang once he heard that he hurt you." May said, threatening Yan.
"DON'T!" Yan yelled, putting up her right hand as if to stop May from doing that,"Listen, I'm mad at Ah Wing right now but I still wanna be his girlfriend."
"Then tell me, or I'll tell Uncle Yin."
"Fine, but promise me that you won't tell anyone, ok?"
May gave a nod and said,"I promise."
"Ok good," Yan said,"Last week, I met Ah Wing's ex-girlfriend, Ashley. She was nice... Kinda... But anyways they were talking about this person, that's a girl, that Ashley had to take care of. And I actually think it's their kid. What if it is? May, I'm scared... If it is their kid, then that situation will cause many problems for me and Ah Wing.. I'm really scared. I don't even know what to do. I asked him about it and he didn't tell me... So then I said that if he doesn't tell me then that must mean that he doesn't trust me and aren't boyfriends and girlfriends supposed to trust each other?"
"Of course they are. See? Ever since I laid my eyes on your so called boyfriend I thought he was a baddie. And it's probably their kid, I mean I can tell that Ah Wing is that kind of person. And don't be scared, be strong. Ignore this boy." May said.
"But... I don't wanna ignore him, I really really love him.... He's nice, funny, cute.... Everything! I don't wanna give up on him. He's the best boyfriend ever! And I can't be strong... I'm weak.... I can never get through this..." Yan said.
"Don't say that! You can, you just have to believe in yourself. I see you have a big delimma here. Want some of my handy dandy relationship advice?" May asked her cousin, who she thought, really needed advice.
"Ok I'll use some of your advice..." Yan said sadly,"That probably doesn't work..." Yan added quietly.
"Excuse me?!" May said.
"Nothing!" Yan said then smiled.
"See? There's a smile! If only you can smile during heartbreak times. But anyways, listen," May said,"Just ignore him for about 2 weeks. If during that time, he doesn't beg for you to come back to him, then dump him, or maybe in your case, say sorry. But if he does beg for you to come back, make him tell you the whole thing, about the girl, about EVERYTHING. If he doesn't wanna tell you, don't forgive him, and slap him in the face then say hhmmph! Then flap your long hair, and strut your stuff trhough the world. Ok? Or just don't do that and just slap him and say hhmmph! But do what I say or you will regret it." May said then after she was done talking she pointed a finger at Yan,"Do it.."
"Ok... Ok.... But I wanna call-"
"DON'T!" May inturrupted,"Don't you dare call him, let him call you many many times. But you can call him when the 2 weeks are over."
"One week please?" Yan asked meekly.
"Fine one, since you aren't that strong and confident... Geez..." May said.
"I'm going to shower." Yan said as she got up and walked over to her closet.
"Take my advice, it'll work."
"Ok, ok..." Yan said as she opened the door to their bathroom door.

=========================================== The next night at Ah Wing's house. ============================
Right when Ah Wing sat down to eat, his cell phone rang. A lively melody played, he picked up his phone, and the screen read,"Wong Sou Yi (Ashley Wong)" Ah Wing sighed as he pressed talk.
"Why a sigh? Sad???" The person on the other line asked, her voice was somehow happy.
"Oh nothing, just tired." Ah Wing lied,"Why'd you call?"
"You don't like me calling?" Ashley's voice was fading into a sadder one. Ah Wing did not give a damn whether if Ashley is sad or happy now, he only cared if Yan was ok, if she was forgetting him or missing him.
"No, no, it's just that I wanna know why, it might be important right?" Ah Wing lied.
"Of course! But anyways, Ah Wing I have to tell you something..."
"Yes?"
For Ah Wing, it seemed like Ashley had took a big breath,"Karen.. Has cancer..... And I'm worried, what if this cancer... Kills her?" The truth to Ashley was that she didn't even care whether Karen dies, she just wants to be free of Karen.
"WHY DIDN'T YOU TELL ME AT THE CAFE?!?!?!" Ah Wing shouted of shock.
"Because I thought it wasn't the right time.... I'm sorry... I should've told you..." Ashley said, making her voice sound as sad as ever, trying to trick Ah Wing that she was sad. And it worked.
"I'm sorry... I'm sorry... It's just that... She's important to me.. She's the 2nd closest person I've got..."
Ashley jumped up (since she was sitting on a chair)
She said,"Who's your first closest?!?!"
"Ashley, that's not important right now... But do i have to go back and see her?"
"Yes... I'm going back to England in 2 weeks. She's at the hospital right now.."
"I'm going back with you... I have to see her for the last time probably, if it isn't the last time, I still want to see her, and be there with her." Ah Wing said,"But right now, I have to finish my dinner." then he turned off his phone, not wanting to hear anymore from Ashley, he was heartbroken enough but now Ashley's had made his heart break even more, he was sure that his heart is in halves now.
'Should I tell Yan about this?' Ah Wing thought,'I feel like I'm staying away from her... Not telling her everything... But she's got that right, what she said last time.. She might forget it in a couple of days later... It doesn't matter... She'll forget about it and come back to me... Yea that's what she'll do.'

Yan walked through the streets of Hong Kong,'Ugh... I'm sick of this... I miss Ah Wing's voice... I wanna talk to him....' Yan looked up and saw a brown apartment building,'Is that Ah Wing's apartment? Maybe.. I should pay him a visit.'
Up in Ah Wing's apartment, he was just about to get ready to get out the door,'I should just apologize to her and tell her everything, she deserves to know.. I haven't been a good boyfriend...' Ah Wing thought. Just when his hand touched the door knob of his door, the doorbell rang.
DING DONG!!
He opened the door to find.....
