After dinner, Siu Sung and Ngor went out for a walk. Thus a conversation began...
Siu Sung: How was dinner?
So Ngor: Great.
Siu Sung: Yee Mui Jei seems to be extremely happy.
So Ngor: *laughs* Yes, we can all see that.
Siu Sung: Ngor, how did you and your husband separate?
So Ngor remained silent.
Siu Sung: It's okay if you don't want to say. I understand.
So Ngor: *took a deep breath* Well...as time passed, out relationship seemed to have lost its bond. He spends most of his time working. I know he cares about his work a lot, and I respect him for his dedication. Eventually both of us realized that, perhaps the feeling we have for each other was not love. More or less, I have to admit, I was really thankful to him for saving Ka Lok. Maybe that was one of the reasons as to why I married him. He was indeed a good person. He knows that neither of us would be happy if we stayed together, so he suggested divorce.
Siu Sung: He sounds like a very considerate and thoughtful person.
Ngor nodded.
Siu Sung: Come to think of it, I should thank him. If it wasn't for him, I doubt we can be together again.
Ngor smiles.

The next day...
It was Chi's day off, she had nothing to do but to stay home. Her father and her grandmother along with Sum Jei went on a trip to Ping Ching Temple. Since they won't be back for a week, Chi wasn't expecting any company.
To her surprise, the doorbell rang.
Ying Chi opened the door, but no one was at the door. Just when she was about to close the door, a familiar voice called out to her.
Person: Ah Chi!
Ying Chi turned her attention to the direction of the familiar voice.
Person: Long time no see!
Ying Chi: What brings you back? Did you bring any gifts? You better have, if not...then you're in big trouble! *holds up her fist*
Person: Still the same Ah Chi, still as aggressive as before.
Ying Chi: Same with you Ken, you haven't changed one bit. Still as calm as ever.
Chi gave Ken a welcome back hug and invited him in the house.
Ken: I've completed the training program.
Ying Chi: You said it was going to take a year or so, but its only been ten months.
Ken: Umm...Let's just say I was smarter than I thought, so I finished the program faster than expected.
Ying Chi: Do you think I'm going to believe that?
Ken: *laughs* You're always so intelligent...
Ying Chi: *smiles* Thank you. So spill it, what's the truth?
Ken: I have one week of vacation, so I decided to pay you a visit. Plus, I want to bring you some news about the program which you might find interesting.
Ying Chi: What news?
Ken: The headquarter over in England is planning to start a series of programs designed to help improve the abilities of female officers, so I thought you might be interested. This is a good opportunity to challenge and improve yourself.
